Moody PNW Wedding

Despite more than a decade together, a full and established life with two kids, a real wedding has been waiting for them. That right moment finally came when Jeremy formally proposed and wedding plans began. No one knew that things would be put on hold as they did for a year, but despite it all, their wedding went off without a hitch and was so perfect for them.

The day started with just us girls at the Salish Lodge getting ready, already facing the moody PNW weather that crept in and lingered throughout the day. Cherish was eager to not hold up the day, to look flawless for her groom, and watch the day she carefully planned unfold in all its beauty.

We made the drive through stunning mountain roads from Snoqualmie to Ravensdale Acres, with views of rolling mountain ridges, low lying clouds, and to our luck, not a drop of rain. I chatted with family, helped guide the day, played their favorite music, and took pictures all the while. The beauty of small weddings is that I get to be apart of their family for the day, crying with parents, laughing with friends, and eating some amazing food at their table. These experiences are the ones that I remember for years to come.

Jeremy and Cherish, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day (major thanks to Tomie for making sure it was me who got to document your day), and congratulations to a lifetime of love!
